Grief
Grief counselling can provide a supportive environment where individuals can process their thoughts, feelings and behaviours following the death or loss of a loved one, struggles with infertility, loss of a job or death of a beloved pet.
No one way of grieving is better than another and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. While grieving is a natural response to loss it can evoke intense emotions including feelings of sadness and discomfort. Grief counselling is an effective way to learn to manage the symptoms associated with grief and establish healthy coping strategies.
Grief is a process of adjusting to a new reality and possibly re-establishing a sense of identity. Calming Tree Counselling provides education, support and guidance to assist individuals to move toward healthy models of healing.
